In a continued effort to bring healthy sustainable living tips to those who live or work in San Francisco's financial district, Crocker Galleria has teamed up with Green Zebra to host a series of Power Hours. These quick and fun mini-seminars aim to educate the community about easy and inexpensive ideas ways to bring sustainability of everyday living. Power Hour events on a variety of topics take place from noon - 1 pm on certain Thursdays, the day of the week when the year-round Crocker Galleria Farmers' Market takes place.
Post Montgomery Center, home to Crocker Galleria, is a LEED Gold certified green building, with a management team committed to preserving the environment.
Come to Green Zebra’s Zero Waste Lunch Power Hour and learn about the impact that your daily lunches have on the environment. Become informed about the amount of waste that is created by take out food and prepackaged lunches. Learn how to change your habits by finding alternative lunch and packing ideas. All attendees will receive a handout outlining what to buy at the farmers' market to create zero waste lunches. You will also have the opportunity to purchase the latest accessories for packing your own zero waste lunch.
