The GZEAC is available for the use by outside organizations on a one-time, recurring or ongoing basis for environmental, art and educational exhibits. Preference is given to groups, which support the GZEAC’s goals, but all are welcome. Except for ongoing exhibits, a modest rental fee and deposit is generally required.


Facility Information


Size: The GZEAC has an open floor plan and can be configured to accommodate a wide variety of group sizes and activities. The space available for rent is roughly 1,175 Sq. ft ( 47ft by 25ft.) 

The space can easily accommodate 100 standing or 40 seated.


Furnishings: The below can be made available, if requested in advance, for all events:

•Seating for up to 40 people

•Tables

  1.   Projection Screen and Projector

  2. Cables and Extension Cords

•Refrigerator

•Sink


Staffing: Unless alternative arrangements are made in advance, a Green Zebra staff member will be present during your event. If you need additional Green Zebra staff members to be available a fee may apply.


Food & Drinks: Green Zebra does not supply food or drinks but is happy to


Public Relations: All events will be publicized in the GZEAC Update (our Action Center Newsletter) on the GZEAC website and on the Green Zebra calendar. If you are a non-profit and if the event is open to the public, Green Zebra will help publicize the event on additional calendars in the community if needed.


Storage: Items can be stored for up to one week in advance of the date of event. Depending on the items, storage may be available for longer for recurring events.


Rates: To cover the cost of set up and staffing during the event, there is a nominal fee for renting the space.  Alternatively, we can also accept payment via the upfront purchase of Green Zebra guides. We recommend you use these guides as gifts for attendees, fundraisers, and/or raffles for your organization.

Deposit: A minimum of a $75 deposit will be required for all events. The purpose is to cover clean up and any potential damage or loss. The deposit will be returned in full if all terms of the contract are satisfactorily met which generally include:

Return of Bathroom Keys

No Damage

Space is tidy and generally in the condition you received it in

Trash is removed and deposited in downstairs receptacles

Deposits should be given in the form of a check, which will be returned to you after the event if the requirements are met.


Cancellations: Rental fees will be refunded as follows:

More than one week in advance     – 100%

Less than 2 days in advance        - 75%

Same day        - 50%
